Sunrisers Hyderabad Impact Subs: Abhinav Manohar, Sachin Baby, Rahul Chahar, Wiaan Mulder, Jaydev Unadkat
Teams:
Punjab Kings (Playing XI): Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh(w), Shreyas Iyer(c), Marcus Stoinis, Nehal Wadhera, Glenn Maxwell, Shashank Singh, Marco Jansen, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Lockie Ferguson
Sunrisers Hyderabad (Playing XI): Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen(w), Aniket Verma, Pat Cummins(c), Harshal Patel, Zeeshan Ansari, Mohammed Shami, Eshan Malinga
Pat Cummins: It's fine. I think we can chase anything. Not an ideal start. But we are training really well. Everyone is in a good space. We have lost a few in a row, but that isn't ideal. One change. Malinga comes in the side for Kamindu Mendis.
Shreyas Iyer: We are going to bat. In the last few games we have batted first, we have the ability to post good scores. We want to play some aggressive cricket, that's our mindset at the moment. We have seen that we don't have a fantastic record in the powerplay. We don't have that thought at the back of our minds. Every individual in our team play their brand of cricket. We got to be top notch, need to back our instincts. We have to keep repeating that again and again. Playing with the same team.
Punjab Kings have won the toss and have opted to bat
Right then, it's toss time..
Lockie Ferguson: It was an outstanding innings (talking about Priyansh's ton vs CSK), the calmness he showed with wickets falling at the other end, he clearly knows his game and a very exciting prospect for India as well. Really enjoyed playing under him (Shreyas Iyer), he is really calm around the group. The calmness and experience he's had for a long period of time has sort of shown through. As a group we are doing a lot of things right, the experience we have in the unit has shown through at times, obviously it is a challenging ground and looking forward to it. It is all about adjusting on the day.
Nitish Reddy: We’re not looking at the opponent. The approach is the same and we’re going to keep believing in ourselves. Good partnerships, we’ve got an explosive batting lineup and we should focus on getting some partnerships and take it from there. Need to convert starts into big ones, that’s what I’m looking for. Hopefully I can do that. It (the crowd) is very important for us, at this time we need some support and belief in us, lets hope this ground has got something for us today.
