After suffering a shock defeat in the first Twenty20 International, India made a strong comeback in the second game by demolishing the hosts by 10 wickets. They were aided by the return of Barinder Sran and Dhawal Kulkarni to the playing XI in place of Jaydev Unadkat and Rishi Dhawan. Sran's four-wicket haul rocked the Zimbabwean batting lineup early in the game and they ended up making only 99. Mandeep Singh scored his first half-century in international cricket in the chase and he is likely to get another game today.

Will Faiz Fazal get a game though? He scored a fifty in the only game he played on the tour but will Dhoni make changes in a series decider? Zimbabwe, on the other hand, will need to get their act together. Their batsmen in particular, need to pull up their socks and bat more responsibly in order to give their bowlers something to bowl at. Richmond Mutumbami missed the last game after getting hit in the hip during the first T20I. He is likely to miss today's match as well which would give Peter Moor another opportunity to impress. This will also be Dhoni's last international appearance for a very long time since India aren't scheduled to play a lot of limited overs cricket over the next few months.

Vusi Sibanda has made his intentions to take the attack to the Indian bowlers clear early on in the innings with three consecutive fours off Dhawal Kulkarni in the third over. Sibanda and Hamilton Masakadza were getting singles easily and maintaining a run rate of over six an over. However, against the run of play, Axar Patel managed to trap Masakadza in front of the stumps.

Graeme Cremer, Zimbabwe skipper, won the toss and elected to field in the third and final T20 International match of the series against India. MS Dhoni, however, didn't seem disappointed with the idea of having to bat first. He said, "We were looking to bat first today. I don't think it will get better in the second innings, so toss is not crucial. The last game was the one where there was variable bounce. We are playing with the same side."

India has come in with an unchanged Playing XI.

Zimbabwe (Playing XI): Chamu Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza, Peter Moor(w), Vusi Sibanda, Timycen Maruma, Malcolm Waller, Elton Chigumbura, Graeme Cremer(c), Neville Madziva, Donald Tiripano, Tendai Chatara

India (Playing XI): Lokesh Rahul, Mandeep Singh, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni(w/c), Axar Patel, Dhawal Kulkarni, Jasprit Bumrah, Barinder Sran, Yuzvendra Chahal
