Bangladesh stand-in skipper Litton Das said on Thursday (December 19) that he is ready to take captaincy on a long-term basis if offered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board.

Litton had previously led the side before being removed from his position, and was again asked in West Indies in the absence of Najmul Hossain, who missed the tour due to his injury.
While Bangladesh opted to give the leadership of the ODI and the Test side to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, it wasn't the case in T20Is as board decided to give Litton a go again and he excelled by brilliantly marshalling his resources to help the tourists earn 3-0 series sweep over West Indies.
It is understood BCB is looking for a long-term captain in the shortest format due to the form of Najmul in the T20Is. Najmul initially told the board that he
