UAE will be traveling to Australia without Rohan Mustafa, who wasn't named in the 15-man squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Mustafa, 33, is the most capped UAE player in both T20Is and ODIs, and represented his team as recently as the Asia Cup Qualifier. In UAE's unsuccessful campaign there, Mustafa was dropped only one match into the tourney; in that game against Kuwait, he didn't bat and recorded figures of 1 for 40. In his last three T20Is before that, Mustafa had scores of 37*, 9* and 41.
