Oval Invincibles roared into the final of the Women's Hundred with a 32-run win at the Old Trafford, knocking out Manchester Originals in the process. Originals needed to chase down the 164-run target inside 73 balls in order to qualify for the eliminator but two wickets each from Sophia Smale and Marizanne Kapp kept the response to only 131 in 100 balls as Lizelle Lee's 64 off 41 at the top went in vain. It was a Suzie Bates show earlier in the day as the opener stroked 79 not out off 47 balls, hitting 9 fours and 2 sixes in a peak captain's knock. As a result, Invincibles edged past Southern Brave in the points table and qualified straight for the final.
