Sri Lanka's last stay in Bristol was an unhappy one. During the 2019 World Cup, both their games there were washed out without a ball being bowled and they complained to the ICC about the green pitches and that their hotel in the city lacked a swimming pool for the players to recover in. It is fair to see they were not sorry to leave Bristol during that tournament. They probably won't be that happy to be back.
