Two fans were subsequently ejected from the stadium following a complaint from the Pakistan team management.

"The Pakistan cricket team management has strongly condemned the abusive language directed at national players by foreign spectators," a Pakistan team management statement said on Saturday (April 5).
The Pakistan team management statement specifically mentioned that a couple of Afghan spectators in the stands were unruly and abusive towards the Pakistan players. They were particularly harsh against all-rounder Khushdil Shah who tried to plead with the spectators to restrain themselves. Khushdil was not in the playing XI.
"During the match today, foreign spectators hurled inappropriate remarks at cricketers present on the field. When anti-Pakistan slogans emerged, cricketer Khushdil Shah stepped in and urged the spectators to refrain
"In response, Afghan spectators escalated the situation by using further inappropriate language in Pashto. Following the Pakistani team's complaint, stadium officials intervened and ejected the two disruptive spectators," the statement said.
