February 11 will be a day of firsts for Australia. As the events of the last few days would point out, it'll be the first day of Australia's post-Langer era - the former Test opener resigning from his post as the head coach after having led the team to its maiden men's T20 World Cup title last year.

Friday will also be the first game that Australia will play as the holders of the T20 World Cup, a salutation that they don't have too much time to savour. Such has been the times of the pandemic that ICC was left to squeeze in two T20 World Cups in as many years, which means come October, Australia will have to defend their title. The one advantage though, for the first-time winners is that they'll get to do it at home.
